Okagbare good for long jump gold medal

Nigerian’s hopeful have risen high at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow,  Russia, as Blessing  Okagbare yesterday put herself in a good position to land the women long jump gold after she recorded the second best jump in the qualifying rounds.

NIGERIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE IS TO ENDORSSE THE NIGERIAN SPORTS



The NOC has endorsed and are ready to partner with the Nigerian sports award as a very way of recognizing and rewarding outstanding Nigerian sports men and women.  The NOC has also concluded the arrangement to host the IOC yearly Trophy with the Nigerian Sports Award and will be presenting the 2013 IOC Trophy to the deserving winner at the event by November this year.

DIDIER DROGBA RETURNS TO IVORY-COAST

The striker Didier Drogba has been recalled to the Ivory Coast squad for the August 14 friendly against Mexico.
Since the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final defeat to Nigeria on February 3, he have not played any international Football.
